Jody, Hope this finds you and your family well. I run into Doug Levine from time to time. He keeps me updated. I have a question that you might be able to answer…Do you remember an Indian national student we had at WIS with the first name of “Purvi”? There is a young lady dentist on Louetta now with that name. I wondered if it could be her, or is that a common first name?

I have been looking all over the place for a bluebonnet smocking plate, and a websearch led me here, to the one by Judy Nayak. While I have a cherished few of those gorgeous ASE magazines here in Texas, even going back that far, I do not have the one this was apparently published in. Please, please, please, can someone tell me where I can buy/find/beg a copy of this plate? Soon? I tried designing my own and the result is an unmitigated disaster. I am supposed to make 2 bluebonnet-smocked Easter dresses (our state flower!!) in the next 6 weeks!! (by April,2011)
